MEET THE TEAM
DAVID DAVEY
Co-Founder
Co-founder and Executive Chef at Goldfinch Gourmet, David brings decades of culinary expertise to every dish and is trained in classical French cuisine. After working as a chef in Vermont for several years, Chef David pursued his passion further for refined cooking in France, where he earned his second culinary degree. He received the Superior Culinary Degree from the prestigious Alain Ducasse school in Paris. In France, he honed his craft at a two Michelin-star restaurant in Bordeaux’s renowned wine country and later worked in Hawaii’s luxury culinary scene at the Four Seasons. He returned to Vermont to continue his devotion to quality and an eye for detail. David is driven by a mission to create dishes that celebrate the best ingredients and evoke joy, connection, along with an element of fun.
SHEENA DAVEY
Co-Founder
Sheena, co-founder and creative force behind Goldfinch Gourmet, is passionate about bringing exceptional culinary adventures to the community. With an eye for detail, knowledge and experience with pastry art, and a love for artisan food, she plays a vital role in curating the shop's unique selection of products. Sheena's vision for Goldfinch Gourmet is rooted in her commitment to quality, sustainability, and community engagement. Sheena aims to inspire customers to explore and connect with the culinary arts, making Goldfinch a welcoming destination for all.
